From the Western Telegraph, first published Friday 17th Jun 2005.
The Pembrokeshire Darwin Science Festival team is asking everyone to take part in their week of events from Friday, July 2nd, to Friday, July 8th, exploring the question, What is Nature's Favourite Colour?
Everyone and anyone can take part - schools, families, youth cubs, after school groups or perhaps you fancy going it alone and discovering the answer yourself.
The week is packed full of interesting things to do and discover, from The Big Treasure Hunt, The Big Beach Day, The Big Experiment, a search for firebirds, a kite-making workshop, plus much much more!
We have teamed up with the Darwin Science Festival to help them find the answer to their Big Experiment!
They want you to conduct your very own investigation to help them find out if colour really can affect a sports team's performance.
There is a saying that `red is the colour of winners'.
Why don't you see if this is true.
Log onto www.celtic league.com and tell me who finished highest in the league, the Llanelli Scarlets or the Cardiff Blues?
If you answer correctly, you could win a Llanelli Scarlets team shirt to be awarded at The Big Treasure Hunt on Sunday, July 3rd, at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran.
If you don't win, be sure to take part in the festival week and the grand finale, where you can meet Nick Baker from the Really Wild Show!
